Happy Baker + Joe Martin

​

Having worked together in design and construction for the past 30+ years, Happy and Joe specialize in designs founded on the principle desires and needs of their clients in a style that suits their aesthetic, and constructed in a high performance envelope based on the fundamental principles of sustainable design.   With her M.A. in Art History, one of Happy's many talents is providing the best of each architectural style rather than in following the path of a signature look or what is currently in vogue. Through designing and building, remodeling and reimagining properties of all types, they both are eager to provide an enjoyable experience in what is often a process fraught with hurdles.

Since the 1970’s, Joe has specialized in sustainably designed architecture, while Happy began designing kitchens concurrent with teaching cooking at her eponymous retail operation, kitchen design center, and cooking school. They are eager to help their clients with everything from the smallest remodeling job to full-on construction from the ground up; and though they have worked on several commercial installations, especially with restaurants, they specialize in residential projects.
